About Our Name

That's a good question.

It's actually a nod to an inside joke for anyone who's ever been to film school.

When people see a film crew working, they tend to become curious.  And the crew wants to be friendly, but they also have a job to do.  So, when someone inevitably approaches them and asks, "hey, what are you guys filming?"  The response is generally, "oh, we're making a mayonnaise commercial."

(Which is about the most boring thing imaginable.)

The until-then curious inquisitor then generally replies, "Oh.  Great."  Before rolling their eyes and walking away.
